Oil on board (800 x 600)mm

The Ulcoats was built at the yard of Jones, Quiggin & Co. of Liverpool and launched in 1863, so this was her maiden voyage.  She was iron and her registered tonnage was 671.  She was a small ship but a little clipper belonging to the same line which owned the Thermopylae.
